2026 Author Fest: April 22-24
Book Signing Event: Friday, April 24 at 5pm (Anderson’s Bookshop)

Author Fest is a district-wide event hosted by the Downers Grove Area Council of PTAs that brings select authors to visit 1st, 3rd and 5th grades during the school day throughout the district. The community is then all invited to attend a book signing with all three authors at Anderson’s Bookshop in Downers Grove.

Hillcrest PTA, along with the other elementary D58 PTAs, contributes to the expense to bring the authors to Downers Grove with support from the Education Foundation of District 58.
