2027 Hillcrest PTA Scholarship Applications will open in 2027!

Each year, one Hillcrest Elementary alumnus will receive a one-time scholarship to supplement tuition or other educational needs. Representatives of the Hillcrest PTA choose the recipient based upon a holistic set of criteria.

To qualify, a senior must:

  • Have attended Hillcrest Elementary School for a minimum of three years
  • Be graduating from an Illinois high school
  • Have already received acceptance to a college, university, or vocational program

2026 Hillcrest PTA Alumni Scholarship Recipient: Mallory Crowley

We are proud to share that the PTA has awarded the 2026 Hillcrest Alumni Scholarship for $1,500 to Downers Grove South senior, Mallory Crowley.

Mallory will be attending Clemson University in the fall to study Mechanical Engineering, with an interest in studying sustainability through nuclear energy. She is an DGS Varsity and club soccer player, DGS student athletic trainer, and a member of Athletes Committed to Excellence. Mallory is a wonderful member of the community who helps in church, local elections, and Spenga. Congratulations to Mallory for earning this well-deserved scholarship!
