The Holiday Shop is a PTA-run event hosted in the school gym that allows Hillcrest students to shop for holiday gifts for friends & family! Before the event, students will bring home a Holiday Shop envelope and adults can write a list of gift recipient names and a budget for each gift. Parents and guardians wait in the hallway while helpers assist younger students with shopping and wrapping the gifts so they can be a surprise!
Holiday Shop items are priced between $1-$15. There are a variety of gifts for children of all ages, adults, and even pets!
The Hillcrest Holiday Shop can’t run without help from our Hound Dog pack! We are in need of volunteer shopping helpers and gift wrappers as well as helping hands for set up and clean up. Student volunteers are welcome! This is a great opportunity for parents to volunteer with their students in 5th grade and older and give students a chance to gain confidence helping their peers manage their shopping budgets. The Hillcrest PTA will even verify high school volunteer hours for National Honor Society credit.
