Staff Appreciation Committee Chair: Courtney Hogan

Our Staff Appreciation Committee organizes dinners and snack stations to fuel staff during the long days of Parent-Teacher Conferences and plans special events during Staff Appreciation Week in May. This committee also organizes an optional gift collection for the non-classroom staff around the holidays and the end of the year. All of our families are able to participate – keep an eye out for volunteer and event information!

Sunshine Committee Chairs: Laura Breen and Saarah Taherali

Born out of COVID when everyone needed a little extra cheer, this work was so well received it stuck around. The Sunshine Committee recognizes our hardworking staff throughout the year by acknowledging them on designated appreciation days (i.e. Principal Appreciation Day or National Custodian Day) and conducts outreach on behalf of the school community (i.e. sending flowers to a staff parent’s funeral or a gift to celebrate a marriage or baby). Whatever the reason, this committee is all about bringing some cheer – please reach out to the co-chairs if you’d like to get more involved!
